Four Fountain Spa | Review
Now that I have finally moved on to the next big step in life (no, I am not talking about marriage here), I know what people mean when they say "Student life is the best". Of course, nothing can beat the magic of student life, because life of a working individual is nothing but highly over-rated. Luckily, I have been through that madness since my teenage years and long working hours are nothing new. But, with too much work comes stress, and travelling in this season leaves you tired by the end of the day. To beat this, all you need is a day at the spa. But if you are at Four Fountain Spa, then be rest assured that you will walk out feeling relaxed and heavenly. I was invited to their spa at Bandra last week, and here's my experience.
After a 15 minute consultation, the experts advised me to opt for either one of the therapies - Natural protein body wrap or Aromatherapy radiating massage. I went for the latter, as this one hour massage promised to help get rid of my tan (Yes, the tan that traveled with me all the way from Goa), along with helping my tired body get rid of stress. The masseur, Afreen, then gave me detailed information about the oil used in this therapy. A big bowl of hot virgin olive oil is blended with wheatgerm, jojoba, and almond oil, and this concoction results in soft, smooth skin.
The room was well lit, with aromatherapy candles kept in a corner to calm your senses. You can opt for a 10 minute head massage with the therapy, by paying an additional amount of Rs 249. I went for it and hence, the masseur started off with the head massage first. The oil used was a mix of hot coconut and virgin olive. After the 10 min session, she started with the therapy. In the next 60 minutes, I almost went off to sleep. I felt like I was floating on thin air, as the amazing blend of oils left my body feeling light and relaxed.
Spa name: Four fountain Spa
Therapy I opted for: Aromatherapy radiating massage
Price: It varies according to the city you are living in. In Mumbai (Bandra), the therapy costs Rs 1999. During happy hours, you can get this therapy at a discounted price of Rs 1799.
Is it worth the price?: Certainly! The therapy I tried was worth the price.
Will I go back again?: Yes, especially to try the body wraps.
Facilities: Their therapies are divided into - De-stressing, Beauty, De-toxification, Immunity, and Spa packages. Four fountain also has a 'Spa on wheels' facility in Mumbai, where you can opt for foot spa therapies inside their customized spa van, at your doorstep or while travelling.
Rating: 4/5
