Top 5 red carpet looks of 2012 - International

Here's presenting part 2 of the 'Best of 2012' series on Diary of a Dancebee. 

This time, we have picked top 5 looks on the international red carpet. Divas who rocked International events with their fabulous outfits and attitude! Compiling this list wasn't easy, because I had way too many favorites.

1. Angelina Jolie at the Golden Globe awards

How can you not have Jolie's stunning Golden globe look on this list. Dressed in a beautiful white one shoulder Atelier Versace gown, Angelina Jolie was dressed to kill at the Golden globe awards. I absolutely love the folded red detail across the neckline. I also like how she has kept the make up simple, with her bold lips doing all the talking. Her lip color matches the neckline and Christian Louboutin red clutch.

A complete win-win!

2. Naomi Watts at Cannes 2012

Undoubtedly, one of my favorite red carpet looks of 2012. How amazing does Naomi Watts look in this Marchesa fall 2012 gown? No wonder, she also won the first 'Look of the Month' title on InFb (Check the post here). Naomi wows everyone with her red carpet appearances, and she keeps getting better. And yes, that Chopard white diamond necklace is to die for.

3. Diane Kruger at Haiti Carnival

If there is anyone who deserves to be awarded the 'Red Carpet Diva of 2012' title, it has to be Diane Kruger. Her red carpet appearances this year have attracted many eye balls and her choice of outfits made sure that she becomes every fashionista's favorite. I loved all her looks at the Cannes, where she dressed up like a true red carpet diva. At the Haiti Carnival, she chose a Jason Wu black and blue asymmetrical chiffon gown, with an embroidered Chantilly lace tromp l'oeil slip underlay. She teamed it up with black sandals and a Judith Leiber embellished clutch. Two thumbs up!

4. Gweneth Paltrow at the Academy Awards

Another favorite, Gweneth Paltrow rocked the Academy awards red carpet in this beautiful white Tom Ford dress, complete with a white cape and a stunning diamond cuff. Tom Ford's much hyped top secret fall 2012 collection made a mini debut here, with Paltrow looking stunning in this dress. The minimal make-up look gets extra brownie points from us.

5. Jennifer Lawrence at the Hunger Games premiere

At the Hunger Games premiere, Jennifer Lawrence stole the show in this stunning golden Prabal Gurung gown, which looks fantastic on her. 2012 saw Lawrence turn into a style icon of sorts. The gown won many hearts with the cut-out details and an open back. I love how Lawrence's hair was tied up in a loose bun. Also, those pink lips and kohl-rimmed eyes get tons of brownie points from us.

I wanted to feature many other favorites, like Lea Michele and Angelababy, but for now its just the Top 5 looks.
