Allen Solly - Store review

Think of Allen Solly and the first thing that comes to your mind is 'Formal wear'? Well, you are wrong. I was recently invited by the Allen Solly team to review their Autumn Winter 2012 collection and trust me, I came out of the store with a smile on my face.

Allen Solly unveiled their Autumn Winter collection a couple of months back. You can see a beautiful melange of colors in their clothes, especially the dresses. I particularly loved the new colorful cardigans, which were super comfortable. You can take your pick from cocktail, knit or floral print dresses.

The AW12 Collection is a celebration of different styles like the sweater, button up shirts, tees and even colorful denims. The store almost looked like a rainbow, filled with colors like purple, yellow, green and even muted colors like black and grey. The collection is a wonderful blend of turtlenecks, cardigans, trench coats, scarves and even some wonderful clutches and bags. Formal blazers, trousers and shirts are also available.

Price range:
Rs 699 onwards

What to pick up?

New dresses, especially the knitted ones. Also, cardigans, color denims and blazers.

What to leave on the rack?

T-shirts and Blouses, the prints are pretty regular.

If you want to buy a good dress or cardigan without burning a hole in your pocket, then a trip to Allen Solly should definitely top your list!
