Arjun Kapoor's grandmother can't enough of his chemistry with THIS girl!
The recently released trailer of Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer Namaste England has garnered immense love and appreciation from across the quarters. Interestingly, the trailer has not just hooked the audience, but has also caught the attention of Arjun's grandmother.


After watching the trailer, Arjun's grandmother has found a 'perfect bride' for her grandson and its none other than his co-star Parineeti Chopra. Arjun's grand-mom has liked the actor's on-screen chemistry with Parineeti so much, that she thinks that they should get hitched in real life too. How sweet is that? While discussing this, Arjun said, "After watching Namaste England’s trailer, Dadi said that out of all my co-stars, I look best on screen with Parineeti. She thinks that Parineeti is the perfect bride for me in real life as well.”


Namaste England promises to be a young and refreshing story that traces the journey of two individuals Jasmeet and Param. It tracks their love story across the landscapes of India and Europe, starting from Punjab, moving to Ludhiana, Amritsar, Dhaka and all the way to Paris, followed by Brussels and finally to London. Arjun’s character in the film is not someone who will let go of his love so easily and hence, sets off on a voyage, in order to bring his wife home. What follows is a roller coaster ride of emotions, as the husband tries to convince his wife to come back to India, so that they can rebuild their lives again.

Did you know the significance behind the release date of Akshay Kumar's next - Gold?
The trailer of Akshay Kumar's sports drama - Gold, was launched recently, and received a roaring response with more than 32 million views in less than 4 days. Uniting the nation with one dream, the trailer captures the patriotic sense of the film, hailing it to be the perfect Independence day release.
Keeping in mind the significance of this date, the makers chose to release the film on August 15. The film showcases the dream of Tapan Das (Kumar), who dreams for a gold medal win in hockey for India, as an independent nation. He trains the team for the 1948 Olympics in London, inspiring the athletes to make a mark against the British on their own turf. Subsequently, India won it's first gold medal as an independent nation on August 12, 1948. Celebrating this historic occasion, the makers are all set to release the film on August 15 this year.  



Gold traces the journey of a man dreaming to win free India's first Gold in Hockey. The sports drama, directed by Reema Kagti, takes the audience back in time to witness the struggle of a team and their dream to make a nation proud. The film has been shot across the UK and India, capturing some fascinating aspects of the pre-independence era. 

Earlier, the makers opted for a unique promotional strategy, as they released a special  in the theatres. The short video requesting the patrons to stand up for the national anthem of Britain, took several audience members by surprise. 

Starring Akshay Kumar, Mouni Roy (who makes her Bollywood debut with this film), Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh, Vineet Singh and Sunny Kaushal; Gold promises to present some power packed performances, backed by an interesting ensemble cast. Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, helmed by Reema Kagti; Gold is all set to release on August 15, 2018.

 Rishi Kapoor gets emotional while watching the 'Sanju' trailer
While the audience is eagerly waiting for the trailer of Ranbir Kapoor's upcoming biopic -- Sanju (based on actor Sanjay Dutt's life), makers Rajkumar Hirani and Vinod Chopra showcased the trailer to the actor's father - Rishi Kapoor. The veteran actor was pleasantly surprised at the fine performance of his son. On watching the trailer, a teary-eyed Kapoor said, "The way Rajkumar Hirani has presented Ranbir is the biggest, superb thing. The boy has really done well. I am so proud of him. I swear on Neetu and Ranbir, I did not think it was Ranbir. I thought it was Sanjay Dutt."

The proud dad further added, "You don't know how emotionally triggered I am right now at the point where Vinod (Chopra) and Raju (Hirani) have shown me this trailer. The first appearance of Ranbir from the jail, I thought it was Sanjay Dutt." After praising the young actor, Rishi Kapoor jokingly said, "I shouldn't praise him so much. He's good and still got to improve, and still got to do good work. I love you my boy!"



The biopic depicts various stages of Dutt's life, the teaser of which has already piqued the interests of cine lovers. Sanju showcases the highs and lows of Dutt's life. While Ranbir is being showered with praises for his amazing transformation into each phase of Dutt's life, Hirani is hailed for his realistic portrayal.


The director released multiple posters of the film, revealing varied looks of Ranbir from the biopic. All the posters have gained immense appreciation from the audience and critics alike for his striking resemblance to Dutt. Written and directed by Hirani, the film will also stars an ensemble cast, which includes Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Vicky Kaushal, Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Dia Mirza amongst others. Produced by Vinod Chopra Films and Rajkumar Hirani Films in association with Fox Star Studios, Sanju is all set to release on June 29, 2018.

 It’s a wrap for Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi! 
Pack up time for the cast and crew of Eros International and Colour Yellow Productions’ Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi (HPBJ). The team announced a 'film wrap' in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) recently. 
After making an official announcement of the movie in October last year, filmmaker Mudassar Aziz went on to shoot the movie at some beautiful locations in Amritsar, followed by the final shoot schedule in Kuala Lumpur.


HPBJ is a sequel to the 2016 laughter riot, Happy Bhag Jayegi featuring Diana Penty in the lead role along with Abhay Deol, Ali Fazal and Jimmy Shergill. The sequel stars Sonakshi Sinha as the new Happy, along with the original characters played by Diana, Jimmy Shergill, Piyush Mishra and Ali Fazal. The film maker promises to take this sequel to the next level, making it a fun roller-coaster ride for the audience. Producer Aanand L Rai is looking forward to release the film in August. 

Says Mudassar, “It’s quite a happy and an emotional moment for everyone associated with Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi. It has been an enriching experience shooting the film. I’ll definitely miss my ‘Happy’ team and always cherish the moments working on the movie, which is very close to my heart.”

Sonu Sood roped in for Simmba
Sonu Sood has been brought on board for one of the most talked about films titled, Simmba, helmed by Rohit Shetty. Sood, who joins the cast that includes Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan, will be seen essaying a significant role in the upcoming cop caper.


Remembered for his stellar performance as Chedi Singh in Salman Khan-starrer Dabangg, Sood is now gearing up to own his character in Shetty’s next. About his preparation, Sonu said, “We are working on my look. Rohit bhai and I will make sure that it is one of the most talked about screen avatars of the year.” About landing this role, Sonu added, “I am a huge Rohit Shetty fan. The filmmaker makes characters that inspire people from smaller towns to become actors.  I am really looking forward to this collaboration.” The film is scheduled to go on floors next month, though there hasn't been any confirmation on the date from the production house as of yet.

All you need to know about Race 3
Fans of the franchise are in a surprise this Eid. This time, the star cast gets bigger with Salman Khan turning lead protagonist in third part of the Race franchise - titled Race 3 (Duh! obviously). Khan's festive offering promises to be a slick, action-entertainer that belongs to a franchise known for its high-octane fight scenes, layered plots, dotted with twists and turns, woven into an unpredictable story-line, and peppy music. While the look of each character has been unveiled online individually, here's the Race 3 family in one frame.

Salman Khan took to Twitter and shared the cast poster earlier today

The cast, headlined by Khan, includes Jacqueline Fernandez and Bobby Deol along with Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem, Freddy Daruwala in pivotal parts. This time around, Anil Kapoor plays a brand new character, distinct from the previous outings in the series, as he will be playing the head of the family. His character will be called Shamsher.  

While Kapoor has been a part of all the three films in the franchise, Fernandez makes a return for the second time in this thriller series, this time as Jessica. The third instalment will bring back to celluloid Deol as Yash being the 'main man', while Daruwala will be seen playing the antagonist - Rana. Newest entrants include Shah, who will be seen in a feisty avatar as Sanjana, and Saleem will be seen as an angry young man. Makers of the film - Salman Khan Films and Tips Industries Limited, roped in film maker and choreographer Remo D’Souza to helm Race 3. The film opens on June 15, on the festive occasion of Eid, later this year.

It's a wrap on Badhaai Ho for Ayushmann & Sanya
Junglee Picture's Badhaai ho starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra wrapped their shooting schedule last evening. After 2017's sleeper hit 'Bareilly Ki Barfi', Junglee pictures is now set to deliver yet another outing with Khurrana. The entire team, which started shooting for the film in January earlier this year, celebrated the film wrap by indulging in a small celebration along with the makers.
 


The celebration also saw lead actors Ayushmann and Sanya having a gala time by dancing their heart out. Badhaai Ho is a coming-of-age story of a family, as it grapples with some unexpected news. It promises to be 'desi at heart', packed with quirky humour. The film is helmed by Amit Sharma, who is the man behind over a 1000 ad films, including the one on Google Reunion. He has also worked on a short film for Kashmir Tourism, and made his feature film debut in 2015 with the Arjun Kapoor, Manoj Bajpayee and Sonakshi Sinha starrer - Tevar. Badhaai Ho presents a fresh pair in the form of Khurrana and Malhotra, who are paired together for the first time on screen.

 Students throng to Super 30 sets to catch a glimpse of 'Professor Hrithik'
All eyes are on the immensely talented actor Hrithik Roshan, who will be playing a Mathematics teacher in his upcoming next - a biopic which traces the real-life journey of Math Genius Anand Kumar. For this, Roshan has been filming at real locations. Sources from the sets added, "At every location that we have visited, the news of Hrithik Roshan filming in their vicinity used to spread like wildfire. The knowledge that the actor will be playing the role of a teacher has become the talk of the town, drawing students in large numbers to the sets. Students from Varanasi based educational institutions and even those from coaching classes of Kota flocked in large numbers to the sets during the Benaras and Sambhar schedule." 

One cannot ignore the fact that overtime, Hrithik has made a mark with several larger than life characters, roles which showcased his masochism and Greek godly looks, in addition to some emotionally challenged characters. However, Super 30 has given HR a chance to get back to the roots. The character takes Hrithik further close to the heart of his fans in the interiors, a testimony of which is already witnessed on the sets of Super 30. The first look of Super 30 was unveiled recently and showcased Hrithik in a completely new avatar, which had a stark contrast to his previous screen appearances. The look and curiosity around this character has made Super 30 one of the most anticipated films of 2019. Helmed by Vikas Bahl, co-produced by Reliance Entertainment and Sajid Nadiadwala's NGE Productions, Super 30 is slated to release on January 25, 2019.

 Rani Mukerji pens a heartfelt letter on her birthday 
Talks about her return with Hichki, promises and gives a serious kick to sexist stereotypes
One of Indian Film Industry's most popular and talented female actor - Rani Mukerji celebrated her 40th birthday, a little before the release of her next - Hichki. The award winning actress, who has worked in the industry for close to 22 years, chose to pen a heartfelt letter on her birthday and published the same on YRF's official social media handles. The beautiful letter has Mukerji touching various important points and kicking out sexist stereotypes in true 'Rani' style. She expressed how making a comeback to acting, first after marriage and now, motherhood, is her own way of shunning sexist stereotypes that exist in our society. 

While talking about women and the way society expects them (us, as all of us at Team Dancebee are fierce women) to behave a certain way, Mukerji said, "We are judged for our looks, our dancing skills, our height, our voice, our acting, how we carry ourselves every time we step out of the house - we have to be the best and yet, we are thought to be extremely dispensable. I have been asking my friends to talk about their weaknesses and how they overcame them. On my birthday, I cannot skirt these massive 'hichkis' that my fellow actresses and I have faced/face and will face every day."

 Bajrangi Bhaijaan grosses over Rs.169.17 crores in China   
Salman Khan, Harshali Malhotra, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan has crossed over Rs 160 crore in first 10 days of release in China. The film continues to rake in healthy numbers, despite new releases. More than two years since it opened in India, Bajrangi Bhaijaan released in China earlier this month, and continues to enjoy a very strong box office performance, earning Rs 169.17 crores (USD 25.95 million) since its release.

This is Khan’s first ever movie to release in the China market, Eros International released the film in association with China’s E Stars Films Ltd and Salman Khan Ventures. After breaking several records with its Eid release in 2015, Bajrangi Bhaijaan crosses another key threshold, with the film taking a commanding start at the Chinese box office, raking in Rs.14.5 crores on its opening day and debuting at number 7. Kabir Khan's directorial venture trended extremely well through its release, climbing to number 4 box office position on its first Monday. It crossed the 100 crore (rupees) mark within a week of release, and closed the second weekend with Rs 169.17 crore ($25.95 million) in collections, retaining the number 5 position in the Chinese box office, despite new releases over the weekend.
Speaking on the film’s performance, Sunil Lulla - Managing Director, Eros International Media Ltd said, “With the success of Bajrangi Bhaijaan and previous Indian releases, China has emerged as a key market and a major box office earner for Indian releases. We are delighted with the unstoppable run the film is enjoying and how the Chinese audiences have embraced the cross-border friendship story, its emotions, the direction and our much-loved superstar Salman Khan.” He further adds, “We are extremely encouraged by the success of Bajrangi Bhaijaan in China and very excited about our next to roll Indo-China co-production, once again to be directed by Kabir Khan,” he continued. 

 Recognising the significant market opportunity in China, Eros and director Kabir Khan had earlier announced coming together for a travel drama - The Zookeeper (working title) which will be shot in Hindi and Mandarin languages. Sources close to the project suggest that an A-list actor has been signed up for the project, and an official announcement shall be made soon.

'Chandni' leaves the nation teary eyed
India's beloved female superstar - Sridevi, passed away on February 24, leaving the entire nation in a state of shock. The actress was at Ras Al Khaimah for family member - Mohit Marwah's wedding, and later, travelled to Dubai for some personal commitments. On Saturday, just a few days after the family event, she was found unconscious in the bathroom of a suite in Dubai's Jumeirah Emirates Towers. After a medical team failed to revive her, the actress was taken to a hospital, where was declared dead. While initial reports suggested that she had suffered a massive cardiac arrest, it was later confirmed that the legendary actress lost her life due to a case of 'accidental drowning'. 

After 72 hours, mortal remains of Late Sridevi were flown to Mumbai. The last rites were performed as per Hindu traditions at a crematorium in Vile Parle on Wednesday - February 28. Her final journey witnessed a massive turnout, with thousands of fans taking to the streets and praying for their favourite female actor's departed soul.

It has been a tough time for the Kapoor family, especially Late Sridevi's husband - Boney and children - Jahnvi and Khushi. The actress was always were focused on her children and always ensured they got the best of everything. She was excited to watch Jahnvi perform in her debut venture - Dhadak, which is slated for a July 6, 2018 release. However, it wasn't meant to be.

 Earlier today, the family released a formal statement which read: 
The past few days have been trying times for us as a family. Today, particularly, has been one of the hardest. We laid to rest a beautiful soul who has gone too soon. She leaves behind a legacy that is unique. Her talent was undeniable, her beauty unmatched and her ability to connect with the audience was legendary. Sri had the same connect with her family as well. The one thing that helped us all get through these last few days, was the amazing amount of love and support from everyone — be it her many colleagues, to her innumerable fans, her caring friends and loving family, from across the country and the world. This outpouring of love is the memory that we would like Khushi and Janhvi to have of their mother… a woman who was loved unquestionably by everyone. Let us all who loved Sri, envelope her two little ones, her life, as she often called them, with as much or more love than we gave Sri so that they can live their lives ahead with a little less ache in their hearts.  Let us help them remember their mother fondly, with that beloved twinkle in her eyes, and help them build a life and be what Sri had dreamt for them. To the members of the media, we ask that you respect the privacy of the family and allow us the space to grieve. Sri lived her life with dignity and we implore, that you give her the same respect.

We extend our condolences to the Kapoor family. 
To our beautiful 'Chandni'- you shall be missed! But, your legacy will live on forever.

 Namastey England Team kickstart shoot in Amritsar
As they get ready to kickstart shoot for their next film, Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra were spotted in Amritsar to seek blessings at Shri Harminder Sahib (Golden Temple). The duo were snapped alongside director Vipul Amrutlal Shah.



 The film will be shot in extensively in Punjab. Shah is looking forward to filming portions in Amritsar, followed by Ludhiana and Patiala. 

 Kapoor and Chopra, who will be reuniting for Namastey England after the former's debut venture - Ishaqzaade, were keen on visiting the Golden Temple before starting their first schedule in Amritsar. The lead pair will be seen playing Punjabi characters in the film. Kapoor is all excited to play his part in the film, and confessed that he always wished to stay and discover Punjab, in order to get a deeper sense of the people, their culture and of course, the lip smacking food. 

 The film maker, who is excited for day 1 on the sets today, had earlier shared that this is the perfect time to be in Punjab, as the weather is neither too hot nor too cold. Plus, the crops will make for stunning visuals. And, guess what? Shah's Namastey England will be filmed at more than 75 location across the globe. Interesting, isn't it?

 Schedule Wrap for Shahid and Shraddha's next 
After filming for their upcoming film in Uttarakhand since a few weeks, Shahid Kapoor & Shraddha Kapoor wrapped the first schedule of Batti Gul Meter Chalu earlier today. The actors were shooting in Tehri (Uttarakhand), which is quite chilly during this time of the year. The cast and crew shot in local temples, around the Khatling glacier, Tehri lake and the old local markets for the film. 

Sporting jackets, shawls, beanies and every possible winter clothing or accessory, the cast and crew braved the cold throughout their first schedule. They enjoyed the wonderful hospitality and even gorged local specialities like bhang ki chutney, kumaoni raita, jhangora ki kheer prepared on charcoal grills. As reported earlier, the cast and crew preferred to skip five star hotels and instead, opted for the more convenient option of a home stay, during the duration of their shoot. 

 Producer Prernaa Arora of KriArj adds, “Just like our earlier film - Toilet Ek Prem Katha portrayed Mathura in all its different colours; Batti Gul Meter Chalu will showcase Tehri in its full glory. At the heart of it, the film is a love story. We won’t be shooting any songs here, but two songs will filmed in Nainital and Mussoorie later." 

 Now that the team has wrapped their first schedule, the film's lead actor - Shahid, will be taking a small break later this week. He will be traveling with his family to ring in his birthday on February 25 (Sunday). The actor will attend a Satsang in the river town of Beas.  Salman Khan to sport four-five different looks for his 2019 Eid release 'Bharat'
The Eid 2019 release will have the actor sporting multiple looks spanning over 60 years
Salman Khan's Eid release in 2019 - Bharat, will see the actor sport four-five different looks over 60 years as a common man. The film, which marks the actor's third collaboration with director Ali Abbas Zafar, kicks off in June and will be filmed extensively in Abu Dhabi, Spain, Punjab, Mumbai and Delhi. The film, which spans across six decades, will showcase and revisit several landmark events in India's history. It is an official remake of the South Korean film - Ode To My Father. The Partition of 1947 figures among the aforementioned events for which a set is being created in the Abu Dhabi desert to resemble the Indo-Pakistan border. 

Khan will be seen sporting four-five looks in the film through 60 years, and one crucial part will focus on his late 20s, in which the 52-year-old actor will look leaner and much younger. Preparations and recce for the film are complete. Music composer duo Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani are composing a unique theme music for the film which will be in sync with the narrative that follows one man witnessing history being made several times in his life. Other tracks, written by award-winning lyricist Irshad Kamil, are also being developed. The 2014 original depicts modern Korean history from the 1950s to present-day, from the Hungnam Evacuation, the government sending nurses and miners to West Germany, and the Vietnam War. " For Bharat, Indo-Pak relationship through Partition, the 1965 war, till recent times, will be highlighted, including other historical references that impacted the common man. The film's shooting will involve intensive travel and elaborate sets.

 Assam on Priyanka Chopra's mind 
The actress will be producing an Assamese film, helmed by Jahnu Barua 
Priyanka Chopra is all set to present an Assamese film under her banner - Purple Pebbles Pictures. Of course, it is a special significance for the actress, as she is also the Brand Ambassador of Assam Tourism. This is for the first time that a Mumbai based film company has collaborated to produce an Assamese language film, set entirely inAssam. The celebrated and acclaimed master film maker, Jahnu Barua, is directing this film after a gap of almost four years since his last, Ajeyo. The endeavour of the two companies producing the film is to help take this film to national and international audiences, beyond Assam. Though the film is titled ‘Bhoga Khirikee’ for the domestic market, it will be titled 'Broken Window' for the non-Assamese and international markets.


Representing Purple Pebble Pictures and her daughter Priyanka Chopra, Dr. Madhu Chopra has travelled with the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Sandeep Bhargava, to Guwahati alongwith Mr. Shahnaab Alam representing Easterly Entertainment, to join Barua, along with the principle cast members to formally announce the film and the key people behind ‘Bhoga Khirikee’ (Broken Window). Given the strong support Assam Tourism has extended towards the film during its shoot, and Chopra’s deep involvement in promoting Assam as a destination for international travellers, it is apt that the announcement was hosted at the headquarters of Assam Tourism Development Corporation in Paryatan Bhawan, in the heart of Guwahati city. 

‘Bhoga Khirikee’ (‘Broken Window’) is a multi-layered story, from the perspective of a female protagonist, whose life is in turmoil due to the ideological and existential clash amongst the three men in her life – her father, her husband and a stranger. How she picks up the broken pieces to chart her own life’s path, forms the crux of the story. Principle cast of the film includes the very popular Assamese actress Zerifa Wahid (who has won the Assam State Award for Excellence in Cinema and Filmfare East Best Actress Award in the past), actress Seema Biswas, theatre actor and musician Joy Kashyap, National Award winner Bishnu Khargoriya among others.

 For ‘Bhoga Khidikee’ (‘Broken Window’) veteran Art Director Phatik Baruah built a beautiful authentic Assamese style house in the midst of lush foliage and with enchanting views near Kaziranga forests. Suman Duwerah is the Cinematographer of this film, while the Sound Design will be done by Mumbai based National Award winning recordist - Amrit Pritam. The title song, which has been written and composed by Ibson Lal Baruah, is sung by Anindita Paul, and was recorded in Mumbai.

Anushka Sharma starts prepping for Sui Dhaaga
The actress is currently undergoing workshops to learn the craft of embroidery

Anushka Sharma is no stranger to taking up roles that are challenging and exciting at the same time. In Sui Dhaaga, the actress will be seen transforming herself again to play the role of a self-reliant embroiderer. She has already started workshops to perfect her character, before she starts filming. She is paired opposite Varun Dhawan for the first time and needless to say, this fresh pairing is something we are looking forward to in 2018!


Producer Maneesh Sharma says, “We wanted someone who could effortlessly transform herself into a character who is intelligent, strong and expressive even in her silence. Anushka brings in the authenticity and resilient spirit as a performer and a star. Today, movie-goers want to discover and love characters that they connect with. They want to identify themselves with the story and see how convincingly and truthfully actors translate it.”

“I was surprised how quickly Anushka picked up the craft of embroidery. When I saw stuff she has embroided, I thought someone has helped her. Later I found out that her preparation is not just limited to the workshop space, she is taking material home to get better at the craft.  Padmaavat to finally release on January 25
The much awaited announcement (and official confirmation) is finally here. Viacom18 Motion Pictures earlier today confirmed 25th January, 2018 as the worldwide release date for their much anticipated period drama - Padmaavat. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Padmaavat will be the first Indian film to have a global IMAX 3D release. Some controversies and delays later, the film has been cleared for release by the CBFC with a U/A release certificate, post agreeing upon and incorporating 5 modifications. 


Based on 16th century Sufi poet Malik Muhammad Jayasi’s epic poem Padmavat, the movie faced resistance from its early stages due to a misinformation campaign and a lot of unnecessary rumours. The film promises to showcase the valour of Rani Padmavati, Maharawal Ratan Singh and the famed Rajput ethos of honour, bravery and sacrifice. According to the makers, Padmaavat has managed to overcome all odds, aided by the support of well-wishers from across the film fraternity, government authorities and the society at large. 


“Padmaavat is a cinematic masterpiece in every sense of the word. We hope that we will surpass the expectations of our fans from across the world. We are humbled with the immense support we have received from government authorities, the Central Board of Film Certification and the entire film fraternity,” stated Sudhanshu Vats, Group CEO, Viacom18. He adds, “Padmaavat is a story that’s inherently Indian in its context, ethos and values. In the past, international film-makers have presented Indian stories such as Gandhi, Life of Pi, The Jungle Book and others to the world.  Jacqueline trains in MMA for Race 3
Jacqueline Fernandez will be seen in an out and out action avatar for the first time in her upcoming film - Race 3. While the audience is ready to witness Salman Khan in an action packed avatar, Fernandez is also gearing up for some serious action. She has already started training and has taken up different activities.


The cast has started shooting for the first schedule, and Jacqueline is leaving no stone unturned to ensure she gives it her best at every action sequence. Popular for its high-octane scenes, Race 3 will have Jacqueline performing some unique action sequences in dynamic avatars. The Judwaa 2 actress has been training in MMA, kickboxing and other forms of action to perfect her act. Though the actress has been a part of a few action films like Dishoom, A Gentleman among others; Fernandez was never seen in a full-fledged action mode. Race 3 will showcase Jacqueline shouldering the action scenes on her own, and this will be her first ever out and out action flick. 

Fernandez, who was holidaying in Bali with her family and landed back in the city last night, has been keeping up with her training to be in an optimal shape for her role in Race 3. The action sequences in Race 3 are expected to succeed its previous parts' action, and promises to be high paced, unpredictable and highly strenuous.  Arjun Kapoor to play a Haryanvi cop in YRF's next
Film maker Dibakar Banerjee is all set to present Arjun Kapoor in a different avatar. In the first glimpse of his character from Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, Kapoor is seen sporting a new look. He sports a buzz cut, typical of police recruits, and looks every bit the hinterland policeman in this picture. In the film, he will be seen playing a 30-year-old police constable from Haryana.


Arjun has spent extensive amount of time prepping for this role under Banerjee's supervision. He interacted with police recruits across all ranks in both the Delhi and Haryana Police, and also visited a training academy.

"Playing a cop is traditionally considered cool in Hindi films. However, in a Dibakar Banerjee film, the cop is presented in a realistic manner. He is real, yet unique as a person. It is that dichotomy of blending and still, standing out, that makes this role all the more exciting. Dibakar is very specific about the look of his characters. We worked on it for a long time before he decided that this is the look he wants. Right from my moustache to hair cut and the freckles on my face, Dibakar worked on every little detail to make my character look like a cop and blend with his environment. It reflects just how Dibakar has imagined him and his world to be. It will be a gritty entertainer and I am looking forward to the first day of shoot." said Arjun.

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are back together as Tiger and Zoya for Yash Raj Films’ Tiger Zinda Hai, the first poster of which was released yesterday. The film, which promises to be a lavish, larger than life, sleek action and high octane spy drama, is said to have all the elements of a super entertainer. The film has been shot at several beautiful locations and recently, Salman and Katrina traveled to Greece for a song shoot. This schedule also marked the film wrap and well, it’s only fitting that the movie’s final shoot is that of celebration.



The song, as the name suggests, has a lot of swag! Titled “Swag Se Karenge Sab Ka Swagat,” the track will feature Khan and Kaif, along with dancers from across the world. Speaking about the shoot, director Ali Abbas Zafar said, “Tiger Zinda Hai is massive in terms of scale, and holds the promise of thrills and entertainment which is why we wanted to salute a central thought with the film’s final song.  Teaser of Shahid Kapoor's next to be launched tomorrow
The teaser of KriArj Entertainment’s next with Shree Narayan Singh will formally be launched on the auspicious occasion of Diwali. While there has been massive anticipation surrounding the film ever since its announcement, the makers will finally launch the teaser of the movie on Oct 19, 2017.

Headlined by Shahid Kapoor, the film is a lighthearted but impactful social drama that every Indian citizen will relate to. Since the film is based on the issue of astronomical light & electricity bills that citizens face, the makers thought it would be ideal to launch the title and teaser of the film on the festival of lights. The film is co-produced by T- Series, with the concept by Vipul Rawal and screenplay and dialogues by Garima and Siddharth. An inside source adds, “KriArj Entertainment as a studio has always backed subjects and issues that still plague the nation. With this film, they reunite with director Shree Narayan Singh after Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, to tackle another subject of the common man’s plight against escalating electricity bills. Together, they hope to make another memorable film that reaches a wide spectrum of audiences across the country.”

 When contacted, director Shree Narayan Singh said, “The subject of this film is very relevant to our times. Diwali is just the right occasion for us to bring light on a subject that needs to be discussed. We look forward to making a film that is both commercially entertaining and encourages an impactful social conversation”. While rumour had it that the Shahid Kapoor starrer was titled “Roshni” , official sources also reveal that the official title will also be announced on Diwali. The casting of the film is underway and the makers will also soon announce the film’s leading lady.

On this occasion of iconic film maker Yash Chopra’s birth anniversary, Yash Raj Films announced an exciting new project earlier today. Well, fans are in for a treat, as Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff are all set to come together for the first time in a thrilling action film. This yet to be titled film will be directed by Siddharth Anand. The team will start shooting for the film in April 2018.

What's interesting is that the film marks Hrithik Roshan's return to YRF after 11 years, post the blockbuster hit - Dhoom 2. Also, this would be Tiger Shroff’s first film with YRF. Director Anand, who began his career with YRF's Salaam Namaste, returns back home with this project. The film maker is all set to present the two popular actors in a slick, contemporary action film. Viacom 18 movies acquires rights for a biopic on Mithali Raj 
With a phenomenal record of being the highest run scorer in One Day Internationals averaging above 51, the captain of the Indian Women’s Cricket Team, Mithali Raj has had a remarkable journey on field. An inspiration to billions of young girls in the country, her life is now all set to be documented on the silver screen. The rights of the film have been acquired by Viacom18 Motion Pictures, the studio that backed several content driven films.  Ranveer Singh to play Kapil Dev in Kabir Khan's film based on 1983 World Cup

After major speculations, it is now confirmed that Ranveer Singh will step into the shoes of  legendary cricketer Kapil Dev in a film based on the iconic Cricket World Cup tournament of 1983, which was won by India. Helmed by Kabir Khan, the sports film will bring to light one of the most important events in the Indian cricket history. The 1983 world cup has been a celebratory milestone in the history of Indian Cricket. 

 Kabir Khan has already completed scripting the film and stated that Ranveer Singh would be the perfect choice to play the sports legend. Khan adds, "As a young schoolboy, when I watched India win the 1983 Cricket World Cup, I had no idea that from that day onwards cricket in India will change forever. As a filmmaker, for me, the journey to that win, filled with raw energy and sheer passion of that young Indian team, is probably one of the most exciting stories I have worked on. And it’s great to have Ranveer come on board to play Kapil Dev. Honestly I could see no one else for the role, ever since I started finalising the script."

The popular track from Judwaa 2 is pure nostalgia for every 90s Kid

It is quite difficult to think of a Bollywood party without the iconic - 'Oonchi Hai Building' from Judwaa. 20 years on, this cult song is still a rage with Bollywood music lovers across all age groups. For Judwaa 2, producer-director duo Sajid Nadiadwala and David Dhawan have brought back the popular track with a modern twist. Oonchi Hai Building 2.0, which released earlier today, is picturized on Varun Dhawan (as Prem and Raja, of course), Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu. Interestingly, the song also happens to be Varun's favourite from the film, where he will be seen playing a double role.


Talking about the song, director David Dhawan said, "Oonchi Hai Building has in a way transcended time and has a huge universal appeal. I'm extremely humbled by the way it has been received. The new song has retained the same energy and spirit. The new cast has given it their all for this song as I feel they wanted to live up to the expectation of the original chartbuster. Hawayein - The love anthem of 2017 is here 
The much awaited, melodious romantic track from Jab Harry Met Sejal - Hawayein, was finally launched at an event in Mumbai earlier today. The fifth song from the film is a beautiful romantic number, which will stay with you for long. Shot in picturesque locations, the soulful track features Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma as Sejal. Finally, we get to see the king of romance in a super dreamy song, and needless to say, the wait has been totally worth it.


In the video, we can see how Harry is seen head over heels in love with Sejal, and can't take his eyes off her. Harry and Sejal, who are out hunting for the latter's lost engagement ring, discover love on this journey. The beautiful lyrics are penned by Irshad Kamil, with brilliant vocals by Arijit Singh. The composition by Pritam is fresh and very dreamy.

Makers of 'Aiyaary' have shared yet another still that highlights the special bond shared between Manoj Bajpayee and Sidharth Malhotra in the film. The duo will be seen together for the first time on celluloid. In fact, Sid has been treating his audience with pictures and videos from Aiyaary's first shoot schedule in Kashmir. The actor also gave a sneak peek into the look that he will be seen donning in Aiyaary as an army man alongside Bajpayee.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui's transformation for MOM will leave you surprised
Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who is almost unrecognisable in the upcoming film - Mom, took a huge leap of faith and completely followed director Ravi Udyawar's vision. Apart from a gruelling hair and make up session that lasted almost 4 hours, the powerhouse performer chose to sport basic kurtas and shirts sourced from the local markets in Delhi.


In fact, the actor was so absorbed in his character that even the locals in Chandni Chowk Delhi (where the team shot several portions of the film) didn't recognise him. 

Director Ravi Udyawar says, " There is a reason audiences and the industry alike refer to Nawazuddin as one of the finest actors in the country. When I explained the look to him , he was really excited because it gave him the opportunity to do something different. As an actor, he is constantly on the lookout for doing something that challenges him. He got on the sets, sat through hours of hair and makeup. hE walked around the local streets, wearing basic clothes picked off the street and yet managed to steal the show."

Enter the world of Jagga Jasoos
A month prior to the film's release, makers of Jagga Jasoos starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have unveiled yet another poster.  The poster chronicles many adventurous of Jagga and Shruti. It is a compilation of graphic representations from Jagga's journey, as he ventures out to find his missing father.


The new poster effectively showcases instances once were Jagga and Shruti are see on top of an airplane, another over a wooden raft, another featuring the duo running over a train, one in a safari setup with Ranbir and Katrina, sitting over an ostrich, while another gives a glimpse of a joyride with the duo sitting inside a car.

Jagga Jasoos' poster effectively encompasses the ups and downs and many adventurous moments that Jagga and Shruti indulge in. The poster also prominently features the characters of Jagga and Shruti against the backdrop of a clock tower, which further adds an edge to the story of Jagga Jasoos.  Both the film's trailer and newly released songs - Ullu ka Pattha and Galti se Mistake, have left the audiences in anticipation and people are eager to witness the world of Jagga. Both the actors have treated the audience with their exceptional dance moves in the songs.

Riteish turns Sansani host with 'Sansanaati Chori Fails'
Just when you thought Riteish Deshmukh has nailed it with his 'Bakwaas with Bank Chor' series, out comes a 7 minute short titled Sansanaati Chori Fails, a hilarious sketch packed with the most stupidest failed robberies of all time.


In the video, Deshmukh, who plays the lead in Bank Chor, pays tribute to sensational crime show anchors (remember those 'Sannate ko chirti sansani' episodes?) as host Champak Chandrakant Chiplunkar. Inspired by true-life thefts gone horribly wrong (apparently). For the team, it was a no-brainer to also cast Gulab and Genda to recreate the 'choris', as they also play Bank Chors in the film. Through this wacky short, Deshmukh helps unmask the two guys underneath the ‘haathi’ and ‘ghoda’ masks, that are featured prominently in the Bank Chor trailer and campaign, and warns people that the two are only getting started.

Deshmukh says, “Ever since the trailer of Bank Chor released, everyone’s been asking me who are the people underneath the ‘haathi’ and ‘ghoda’ masks? So, I took it upon myself to introduce Gulab and Genda to the world through a special short. I hope the two get as much love (or humiliation) as Champak does!” Adds Ashish Patil, “The Bank Chors aren’t alone, as this short also pays a tribute to the stupidity of stupid chors from all over India. And I’m sure they will all identify with this. For the rest, come laugh at them, as they screw up every single job and chori they have ever tried, before they fail in the most epic manner at a bank job!”

After a lot of anticipation and buzz around the film, the first look of Raj & D.K's next was finally launched earlier today. The film, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez, was earlier titled Reload. However, with the teaser, it is finally confirmed that the film will be called A Gentleman, with a quirky tagline that goes - Sundar, Susheel and Risky. And it seems, the 'bandook' (gun) is the lead protagonist's 'Laila' in the film (at least, that's what the teaser of a song from the film suggests).


The film promises to be a quirky action-comedy, and will be the director's duo third outing. The teaser looks quite interesting already, and we can't wait for the trailer now!

Titled 'Ullu ka Pattha', the catchy song has lead actors Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif showing off some cute moves (choreographed by Shiamak Davar) in the backdrop of different beautiful locations. From what we could notice, the characters are out on a quest, looking for something. YRF’s Thugs of Hindostan to kick off in Malta next month 
Yash Raj Films will begin filming for the first schedule of Thugs of Hindostan, their mega project starring Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in Malta. Set off the coast of Southern Europe, and in close proximity to Tunisia and Libya, Malta is an island nation of Europe with relatively unexplored ocean side scenery. 
This ambitious film that brings together Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan for the first time, will kick off aboard two specially constructed massive ships, that are currently docked by the Maltese seaside. These ships that have been built over a period of two months. 

 

Writer - Director Vijay Krishna Acharya explains, “The set of the film is in a high security water zone, with restricted access. Both these ships have been built in the early eighteenth century style, when vessels would carry cannons and other weapons. An international crew has been hard at work creating these elaborate ships in Malta. Most of the portions filmed on board these ships involve high octane action.”

With every detail, including its stellar star cast, Thugs of Hindostan has generated huge amounts of anticipation. The first look poster of the film, with logo, was launched on social media earlier today. Now with the promise of action on high seas and a dose of history, this mega project only builds more excitement. The film goes on floors on June 5, 2017.

While filming the climax of Padmavati, Ranveer injured himself on the head.The injury needed immediate medical attention, but the actor didn’t let this interfere with the shoot. A source close to the actor said, “Ranveer hurt himself on the head while shooting for the film during a particular take, but he was so engrossed in the performance, that he did not realise it till the cut was called. It's only after he started bleeding profusely from the head, which was after the shot was cut, that everyone realised he was hurt badly. Ranveer received initial first aid on the set and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for immediate treatment. He completed the basic treatment and returned to the film's set to complete his portions of the shoot. Rather than letting his injury slow him down or impact the shoot, Ranveer completed the day’s work. He requires stitches on the head. Rarely do you see a star with such dedication and commitment."



Playing Alauddin Khilji has been demanding on Ranveer, both physically and emotionally, given the role’s negative and dark side. This injury just reflects how tough this part has been on the actor, but knowing Ranveer he will conquer the odds smoothly.

Neeraj Pandey's next titled Aiyaary
The film will star Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee in the lead 
Neeraj Pandey is on a roll! While he is currently focusing on a few upcoming films, Pandey is also basking in the success of his production venture - Naam Shabana, which released last week. But, what got us excited earlier today is an all new project, that was announced on a micro blogging platform. The film maker's next directorial venture, titled 'Aiyaary', will feature Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee in the lead. Malhotra, who will be seen playing one of the lead actors in the film, took to Twitter earlier today and confirmed the news.



Aiyaary is a real life story revolving around the relationship between a mentor and a protégé. The story is set in Delhi, London, and Kashmir. Pandey, who likes to shoot in real locations, will be filming parts of it in the Valley. The film will go on floors in May 2017.

Presented by Reliance Entertainment and Plan C Studios, Aiyaary is a Friday Filmworks Productions and is produced by Shital Bhatia, The film is directed by Neeraj Pandey and is scheduled to release on Republic Day (January 26), 2018.

The actress is leaving no stone unturned for Padmavati
Deepika Padukone, who likes getting into the skin of her characters, is currently on a research spree to prep for her role in Padmavati. The actress went on a solo expedition to the Chittorgarh city in Rajasthan. The actress is leaving no stone unturned in order to ace the character. Earlier, Padukone was spotted carrying books based on the history of Rajasthan and recently, we are told she was busy exploring different cities in Rajasthan to understand the nature of her character in Padmavati. 

The actress traveled to Chittorgarh on her own and, in fact, walked around a lot of local places and historical sites to get familiar with all the age-old structures. As history has it, Rani Padmini came to Chittorgarh or Chittor with Rajput ruler Raja Rawal Ratan Singh after marrying him. Hence, the place is of utmost importance to Padukone and the character essayed by her. “I shot for Padmavati in November and December. There was something extremely magical about it and I hope that the magic continues when I start shooting for the film again,” stated the actress, while talking about the history.  DP is also taking extra effort to look the part and is currently growing her hair long. Ever since the actress started preparing for her character, she hasn't chopped off her locks, in order to maintain the authenticity of her character.

Whoa! Ranbir to sport 6 different looks in Dutt Biopic
Rajkumar Hirani's much anticipated directorial venture - a biopic based on actor Sanjay Dutt has been in the news since quite sometime. Right from the buzz around casting to Ranbir Kapoor's look in the film, there is no doubt that this biopic has been making all the right noises. RK, who will be seen essaying Dutt in the film, was recently spotted on the sets, sporting long locks and a beefed up avatar. However, an insider source tells us that's not all. 


We are now told that Kapoor will be seen sporting 6 different looks in the film. That's definitely a first for the actor. RK will be seen donning various avatars sported by Sanjay Dutt, and that shall mark different phases of his life. It is a well known fact that Dutt has sported a variety of looks over the years and director Rajkumar Hirani is leaving no stone unturned to bring all of it to life on the silver screen. 
While Ranbir shall be seen in Dutt's popular looks from films like Rocky, Khalnayak among others, he will also be seen in the look sported by Dutt while in prison.  Hirani is known to bring out the best in his actors, and Kapoor is known to get into the skin of the characters he plays on screen. Well, needless to say, the union of these talented people is going to be one to watch out for!

The Dutt Biopic is slated for a Christmas 2017 release and the team has recently wrapped up the first schedule. We can't wait for the film already!

Here's how Hrithik discovered his abilities as an artist
It's amazing how India's very own greek god - Hrithik Roshan, has shown his versatility with different roles and memorable performances in the last 17 years. Right from portraying characters that possess supreme talent and superpowers in films like Dhoom 2 and Krissh to essaying historic characters like Akbar quite skilfully, Hrithik has done it all. He is also perhaps the only mainstream Bollywood actor to have successfully essayed differently abled characters in multiple films, including Koi Mil Gaya, Guzaarish and the recently released, Kaabil. The film saw Hrithik playing a visually impaired man taking revenge for the love of his life. Kaabil went on to earn accolades, with some calling it the actor's career best performance. 


It won't be wrong to say that Hrithik’s performance in Kaabil played a major part in the film’s success. But for the actor, success is not the only takeaway from this film. He says, “I am really glad that the film has done well, but as actors, we also look for something more permanent than box office success. While filming Kaabil, I was going through a difficult time in my life. I needed to fight my own limitations in order to play this character.” 



Be it Rohit of Koi Mil Gaya, Ellen Masceranhas of Guzaarish or Rohan Bhatnagar of Kaabil; each character connected with the audiences in it's own way.  Although they are different films and roles, there was a common thread in the way Hrithik played these characters. "All of them are emotionally intelligent.  Perhaps, I could connect with these characters at some level. I have had my own struggles with my physical self.  I did stammer as a kid and I am aware how socially awkward and debilitating it can get,” he stated. 


While further talking about his takeaway from Kaabil, Hrithik said, "More than the accolades and box office success, what will remain with me is an invaluable understanding. I perhaps realised for the first time that the phrase 'differently abled' is not a polite word for disabled people. They are actually differently abled. I didn’t play Rohan Bhatnagar as a disabled guy, I played a guy who believes in himself. My way of seeing them has changed forever.”

When Shahid forged a special bond with a commando on the sets of Rangoon!

Shahid Kapoor, who shot for portions of Rangoon in Pasighat (Arunachal Pradesh), bonded big time with a commando stationed in the state, while shooting for the film. It so happened that the Commando, named Bomi. was assigned the duty of Shahid's security, when the cast and crew were shooting at Pasighat. 

In fact, the two grew so close, that Bomi even requested traveling with him to their schedule in Rohtung. Shahid, who had forged a great bond with the young army man, spoke to the higher authorities and convinced them to let Bomi travel with them to the next shoot location and even surprised him with gifts before leaving for Mumbai.
A source close to the unit adds, "Shahid and Bomi spent several days together while shooting Rangoon. Shahid was very interested in getting to know more about his life and the challenges soldiers face. He has a lot of admiration for our security force and was happy to see Bomi enjoy the shoot so much. On request, Shahid even ensured Bomi traveled with them to the next schedule and gifted him a leather jacket and a pair of boots, much to the commando's delight." How sweet, no?

Who else can't wait for Rangoon already?

Makar Sankranti gets a Garba twist with Raees
Festivals in India always provide a perfect backdrop for music, dance, costumes and lavish sets to Bollywood filmmakers. Right from Ganesh Chaturthi to Diwali, Holi to Janmashtami, Bollywood films celebrate popular festivals with much fanfare and enthusiasm.   

Makers of Raees came up with the perfect surprise for upcoming Makar Sankranti festival, albeit with a twist. They have added a beautiful touch of Garba and voila! The result is a melodious, foot tapping number titled Udi Udi Jaaye, which was released earlier today. We couldn't take our eyes off SRK and Mahira's sizzling chemistry, as they danced their way into our hearts with this vibrant, beautiful number. Interestingly, this is also the first time Shah Rukh Khan will be seen doing Garba on screen. Composed by Ram Sampath with lyrics by Javed Akhtar, Udi Udi Jaye is sung by Sukhwinder Singh, Bhoomi Trivedi and Karsan Sagathia.

Director Rahul Dholakia says, “Uttarayan is one of the biggest festivals in Gujarat and Garba is our state dance. No film rooted in Gujarat can be complete without having either of them.  A majority of the writers were gujjus and we decided to incorporate a special song which also takes the story forward.”

The filmmaker adds that a special manja (thread) was called in from Surat, “SRK’s character in the film loves to fly kites and is an expert at cutting other people’s kites. There is a dialogue in the film where Shah Rukh says, ‘Agar Katne ka darr hota na, toh patang nahi chadhata, firki pakadta.’ To give the authenticity to the character we decided to use Surti manjha, which is razor sharp. A couple of times during the shoot, he actually cut his fingers,” he says. Well, like they say - no pain, no gain! The result is truly beautiful and we can't wait for January 25, 2017 already.

Love in the time of War
The much anticipated Rangoon trailer is out and clearly, it is ready to set the screens on fire
After his last film in 2015 - Haider (the epic poetry in motion), film maker Vishal Bhardwaj is back with a bang. This year, he promises a visual treat in the form of a period love drama, titled Rangoon. The film is one of 2017's most anticipated films. Earlier today, three interesting film posters featuring the lead cast were launched online. But of course, what got us completely mind blown was the epic trailer of the film. Gotta admit, every frame of the beautiful trailer is mind-friggin-blowing!


The film is set in 1944, a time when the world was at war and India fought its own battle for independence. Kangana Ranaut plays Julia, a popular film actress based in Mumbai, and Saif Ali Khan plays a film maker smitten by Julia. One thing leads to another and the actress is sent to Burma, where she encounters a soldier named Nawab Malik, played by Shahid Kapoor. What follows is a story of love, war and deceit, in the backdrop of Rangoon. The trailer is beautifully shot, with a fantastic background score, great music ('Yeh Ishq Hai' got us addicted already) and some seriously good cinematography. While both Ranaut and Khan leave us curious with their fine act, it is Kapoor who leaves you mesmerised with his intensity and outstanding display of emotions. With a stellar cast and an excellent crew, we are sure Rangoon is ready to set the screens on fire this year.

 The actor proves why he is one of the most professional artists in Bollywood
There is no arguing that Shahid Kapoor is one of the most professional and disciplined stars in the industry today. And, it won't be wrong to call him a perfectionist. A case in point would be a recent incident. where he was shooting for a brand. Kapoor, who is currently shooting for Padmavati, took a day off to shoot for a brand commercial. The star turned out to be the brand team's dream, as he did over 44 changes for the vest brand, within a span of 5 hours, and that too without any fuss or complaints.


Everyone on the sets were floored by Shahid's energy and enthusiasm. They were pleasantly surprised when he managed to wrap up a 2-day schedule within a quick span of a few hours. Says a source,  "Shahid had set aside time to shoot for the brand, despite his packed schedule for Padmavati. In order to avoid any inconvenience to the brand, he even went to the extent of doing 44 changes for the ad shoot. He managed to fit this into the 5 hours he had committed. Though one would expect those many changes to span out in the course of 2 days, Shahid managed to quickly finish them in a matter of hours and insisted on not taking any breaks to save time." Well, with new parenthood and a packed schedule, this is commendable on the actor's part. Enough reasons to love the Kapoor boy even more.

Sunny Leone sizzles as Laila in Raees
The wait is over and we can safely say, it was worth it! If the signature tune left you hooked and wanting for more during the trailer, we are quite sure you are gonna love it. Laila from Shah Rukh Khan's much anticipated 2017 release - Raees, was finally launched today. Amidst an intense sequence and addictive tunes, we are introduced to Sunny Leone, who sizzles with her moves and looks every inch a stunner. Oh, and how can we not mention Raees bhai aka Shah Rukh Khan? With his kohled eyes and miyan bhai wala swag, SRK means business, as we see him walking into the set up with a mission. Also, don't miss Leone and Khan's sizzling chemistry, albeit for a few seconds. Burning it up, baby!





The song has been recreated and produced by Ram Sampath, with singer Pawni Pandey taking over as the vocalist.  It is a modern version of the popular 1980's song by the same name (from the film Qurbaani), originally composed by the legendary duo Kalyanji - Anandji. Laila Main Laila is peppy, fun and extremely addictive. Well, looks like we have got our favourite track for an NYE Bollywood party sorted. Go ahead! Netflix is the new home of King Khan 
Netflix secures a long-term deal with Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies and will be the Global Home to his upcoming and past films
The world’s leading Internet TV network is the new home of India’s biggest film star. Netflix has announced their exclusive association with Shah Rukh Khan and his production house, Red Chillies. Under this association, all his upcoming and past films will be exclusively available to more than 86 million members globally. This association marks the beginning of a long-term relationship between both companies and the first of its kind with any Indian film production company.


The agreement between Netflix and Red Chillies Entertainment (RCE), the film production house headed by Khan, will also give Netflix members both in India and around the world exclusive subscription video-on-demand access to dozens of RCE films as well as new films that will hit Indian theatres within the next three years. The first title that will come on Netflix is Dear Zindagi which was released theatrically on 25 November. The highly-anticipated film directed by Gauri Shinde stars Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt. Among other Red Chillies titles available on Netflix will be box office hits including Happy New Year, Dilwale and Om Shanti Om.

 The Humma Song brings back magic of the 90s

After delivering back - to - back party anthems this year, Dharma Productions is ready to end the year with yet another groovy track. The Humma Song from OK Jaanu was released today and we can't get our eyes off the crackling chemistry between lead actors, Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur.  It's a sensuous, groovy and foot tapping number, shot in a vibrant and beautiful set up, where we see our lead pair (or the 'Jaanus' if we may say so) displaying some serious moves (fabulously choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant) and sizzling chemistry.





This iconic, sexy hit track of the 90s, originally composed by the maestro A.R Rahman, has been recreated by Badshah and Tanishk Bagchi for the film. While a large chunk of the lyrics remain the same, we are greeted by a signature, fun rap written and performed by Badshah. The track is well sung by Jubin Nautiyal and Shashaa Tirupati. We are hooked on to the foot-tapping rhythm of this modern day version of Humma Humma already. What about you?

Yaarana's Saara Zamana gets a modern Twist in Kaabil

The popular retro track is reloaded as Haseeno Ka Deewana feat Urvashi Rautela
Rakesh Roshan had composed the super hit track - Saara Zamana for Yaarana in 1981. The same track has got a modern day makeover, with Urvashi Rautela sizzling in a retro reloaded version. Titled Haseeno Ka Deewana, the song is already creating buzz on social media.


The creative team has remixed Amitabh Bachchan's evergreen number (originally sung by Kishore Kumar), albeit with a twist. Speaking on this, Sanjay Gupta (director - Kaabil) said, "In our version, the song is sung by a female playback singer, Paayal Dev, and is picturised in the most ostentatious way featuring Urvashi Rautela. Those who recall Mr. Bachchan's jaw dropping outfit with bulbs on it, nothing will be left out in our song and we have attempted something very close that is sure to wow everyone. Over the weekend when this song was being shot, we had booked every single light that was available for shooting to create a similar impact at Filmistaan Studios. A huge dome was erected for the shoot and Urvashi has sizzled like never before."

Producer Rakesh Roshan adds, "The set for Haseeno Ka Deewana looked breathtaking with lights everywhere. It was an extravagant dance set! But when Urvashi walked in, her grace, poise and energy lit the set up more than the lights and she recreated the magic of the song effortlessly."

Gupta added that while the actress was very nervous to perform on the iconic song, she gave it her all and the end result is sure to blow people's mind away. "This is going to be the party anthem for sure and people will be dancing at nightclubs throughout the party season of 2016-17 and beyond," quips Gupta. Rakesh Roshan's Kaabil starring Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam and directed by Sanjay Gupta will release on Jan 25th, 2017.

Shahid gets a royal welcome from the SLB Family
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati, which recently went on floors, has been in the news ever since its announcement. While the casting made some serious noise, fans were delighted to know that Shahid Kapoor was finally cast opposite Deepika Padukone for the first time. The star will essay the role of Padukone's husband, Raja Rawal Ratan Singh, a just ruler and warrior, who gave his all to the battlefield. The film also stars Ranveer Singh, who has been cast as the anti-hero and Padmavati's nemesis - Allaudin Khilji.


Apart from sharing screen space with Deepika , Shahid is also working with Bhansali for the very first time and is naturally excited. Shahid was overwhelmed with the warm response he received from the filmmaker and his crew, as they welcomed him to the SLB family. The makers are fiercely guarding all the looks sported by the actor playing principal characters. We have seen that happen with all of SLB’s earlier films. However, sources reveal that Shahid looked spectacular in a royal, never-seen-before avatar as Rawal Ratan Singh.

Reveals a unit source, "Special attention is being paid to Shahid Kapoor's look and styling in the film. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is known to look into minute details of every character and is excited to present Shahid Kapoor in a new avatar. Shahid started shooting for Padmavati and has filmed some portions with Deepika Padukone. In fact on the very first day, he was completely overwhelmed when the entire unit clapped and cheered for him after his first shot.”


This is the first time Bhansali is making an anti-hero, that based on the tale of Hindustan’s sharp and ambitious Turk - Alauddin Khilji, and the legendary Mewar ​Queen -Padmavati. The latter was known for her beauty, intellect and the courage with which she fought her nemesis – the undefeated Khilji. Viacom18 Motion Pictures & Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati is scheduled to release on November 17, 2017.
